Rainbow Ranch Farms has raised heritage livestock at Pinon Hills, where the high desert meets the San Gabriels, since 1991. Xenia Stavrinides runs it as rancher, nose-to-tail butcher and on-site holistic veterinarian. Poultry is hatched on the farm and pigs and cattle are bred and raised there — heritage and rare breeds throughout, with no vaccines, no antibiotics, no castration and no de-horning. Chicken, turkey, game birds, eggs, pork, beef, lamb and goat are sold as farm shares and bundles.
Read this before you go: The ranch is a private working farm, open to members only, and it does not publish its address — you need a membership to get directions and use the farm stand. Feed is the distinguishing claim: no grain of any kind, and no legumes, nuts or seed oils. Beef is described as free-range on native pasture grass.
Listed means this is a vetted local source we have not yet fully verified against our regenerative criteria. Inclusion is never paid and is not an endorsement.
